Instruction
Heidi teaches based on the German methods of training because of how closely they hold to the classical masters. Heidi is well known for her thorough explanations of training concepts using theory, and when necessary, example. Because of her diverse background she has many ways to adapt to all styles of learning and can easily switch between them to suit the horse or riders needs. Heidi is easy to approach and encourages questions and open communication. Heidi loves to teach, all riders who want to learn, Jr's to professionals, those that don't show, or those that hope too. Heidi is goal oriented and typically likes to have goal setting lessons once or twice a year with each student.
Clinics
Heidi loves to teach, and clinics are high on her list of favorites. Whether it is a standard format clinic, cavaletti, a clinic based on how to raise your test scores, a clinic for Jr/Yr's, seat lessons, or a ride review ride, Heidi is sure to bring something new to the riders, including some extra fun! Heidi is happy to work through clubs, farms or private riders who want to set up a date to all gather together. She is also happy to incorporate a lecture into the mix, and is happy to cover all sorts of topics. Auditors are always encouraged.
Judging Schooling Shows
Coming with a passion for teaching, Heidi brings critique with compassion for the competitor. She is a firm believer in the scale as presented by the USDF and she became certified with "distinction." Her comments are clear and designed to help the competitor have an understanding of how to continue to progress with their horse. Heidi attends judges round tables, and continues her education in this area regularly with hopes to proceed up the levels of judging with time.
Training
As with most instructors, Heidi loves to work with horses in training. This can be as an extension to lessons, or include lessons. Heidi is happy to work with all sorts of horses, under saddle, or from the ground and has a strong foundation for working through training issues, as well as progressive methods to help a horse go up a level, overcome confusion, and gain confidence in its role with its rider.

Heidi is happy to help sell your horse, or find your next partner.
